Website traffic refers to web users who visit a website. How does this make you money?
It should be a no brainer. You make money when a person visits your website.
This makes sense, right? We come to your website for information and your website should be able to give you the information you seek.
Well, it isn't a no brainer, but it is complicated. Because I receive emails every day from people who have asked me to help them find a software program that can solve their problems.
This is a no brainer, but it is complicated. If you are a person who is looking for an easy to use software program that will solve your problems and put you ahead of your competitors, then I am not it. If you want to help people and help yourself, then I'm the program you need.
With that said, here are my secrets to online traffic generation:
1) Do your keyword research.
Do your research and find keywords that are associated with your website and products. The more competitive your keywords are, the better. Use exact matching in your keyword and "competition" text as much as possible. Make sure your keywords are descriptive. Make sure your keywords are related to your website.
2) Write articles that give the visitor an information and a call to action.
Once you have your keywords, write articles that give the visitor an information and a call to action. Don't write them for yourself, write them to help people. You may be writing them for yourself, but the articles should be helpful to someone. You can include links back to your website in the article, as well as a resource box at the end.
3) Write articles.
I'm not a big fan of writing articles myself, but I love putting my resource box into my articles. As long as your articles give the visitor a call to action, I'm with you. I don't like writing the articles myself, but I have given my articles to many of my clients to use on their sites.
4) Find blog sites with related content to your own.
I like blogging, it is like having a little blog of my own, except I can post in it and have it link back to my website. I look for blog sites that have exactly the same content as my website, just in a different category. If your website has a lot of pictures, give them a blog and post a picture every day, if you have a lot of text, give them articles daily.
5) Post videos on YouTube.
I'm a big YouTube user, just like thousands of people are. I get a huge amount of traffic from You Tube, but I'm sure if you gave a video away, you would get the same amount of traffic. I am a big You Tube user, but I don't own a site. I post videos to sites like YouTube, to keep my website fresh. I don't think that I will ever own a site. Once you are into something, you can't stop. I'm happy with giving away videos for as long as I can.
There you go. If you do these things, you will have loads of traffic coming to your website. I know it is a lot to think about, but there is a lot of information on the net, so take the time to go and read it. It is your future!
